Reviews and Ratings
I found this hotel to be quite standard for a three-star place, offering average accommodations at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and efficient, and breakfast was satisfactory. However, I faced some issues with the Wi-Fi and the overall maintenance of the hotel, which left me a bit disappointed.
I enjoyed the beautiful venue that offered a real African feel, complete with roaming peacocks and monkeys lounging by the pool. However, the service left much to be desired, as staff were often unfriendly and unhelpful. The odd dining hours were a hassle and not being informed of them beforehand was disappointing. On top of that, I found the tap water unsafe to drink and it was tricky to get more bottled water.
My stay had its ups and downs. While the landscape and the welcoming atmosphere made me feel like I was at home, the Wi-Fi was terribly unreliable, and the initial booking experience was frustrating with multiple cancellations. The staff was certainly one of the highlights, but the checkout process was a nightmare that needed improvement.
Metcourt Inn offers a serene ambiance within the Grandpalm Resort Complex, making it a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers. The staff were friendly and professional, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, the hotel has notable maintenance issues and some concerns with safety that detracted from the overall experience. While the rooms were decent enough, the dining experience left much to be desired with delayed service and an unappetizing smell.
I had a decent stay at the hotel overall. The reception was great, and I loved the breakfast options. However, I was disappointed that they only offered breakfast, which meant I had to go to another hotel for lunch or dinner, and the rooms were quite small. Still, the environment was pleasant, and the staff did their best to accommodate my last-minute booking.
